TwoFlorida state champions will go head-to-head in week four of the CSS HighSchool Football Game of the Week as the American Heritage Stallions travel toSeffner, FL to play the Armwood Hawks, Friday, 7:30 p.m. ET.
Armwoodis 1-0 on the season after trouncing Brandon 55-0 in the Hawks' opener and are1 in the MaxPreps Florida 6A rankings, 5 in the overall Florida rankings and25 in the nation. American Heritage isalso 1-0 after shutting out Atlantic 29-0 last weekend and are 1 in theMaxPreps Florida 3A rankings, 4 in the overall Florida rankings and 20 in thenation.
Armwoodwon Florida's 6A state championship in 2011 but was forced to forfeit all oftheir wins the last two seasons for using ineligible players. The Hawks also reached the 2010 StateFinals. All totaled, Armwood hasofficially won two state titles in 2003 and '04. American Heritage is Florida's defending 3Astate champion and has won three titles with the other two coming in 2007 and'09.
