2011 Florida State Finalist First Coast will be looking to clinch thestate's District 2-7A championship Friday night on CSS when the Buccaneers host Jacksonville rival Ed White at 7:30 p.m. ET. This north Florida showdown headlines Week 12 of the CSS High School Football Game of theWeek.First Coast is 8-0 on the season and 32-3 thelast two-plus seasons under Head Coach Marty Lee after making deep runs in the Florida High School playoffs the last two seasons. The Buccaneers played for Florida's 7A State Championship lastseason, falling to Manatee in the finals, finishing with a 13-1 record. This after First Coast had reached the statequarter-finals in 2010. The Buccaneersare currently 4 in the Max Preps Florida 7A Rankings and ranked 13 overall inthe state.Ed Whiteis 5-3 on the season and the Commanders are gunning for their 8th straightwinning season under Head Coach Terry Gilliam.Last season Ed White nearly became the only team to beat First Coast during the regular season, losingto the Buccaneers 35-34.
