SEC Schools with at least one Florida commitment totals 1114. Here is mytake on the best prospect from Floridaon their committed list. Nathan Peterman(pictured) could be the next great quarterback at Tennessee. He is from Jacksonville,Florida.

Alabama- Nick Saban has dipped into Florida for speed and playmakers with histhree commitments. I think Chris Black and Amari Cooper are legit wide receiverprospects. Black is listed as one of my favorites on Monday, but Eddie Williamshas a chance to come in and be the next Mark Barron. He is an athlete that canplay anywhere Saban chooses, but my gut says safety.Auburn-TheTigers have two but today many can drop. Patrick Miller the offensive tackleform Palm Beach Gardens Dwyer should be in the two deep come day one. Millerwas a long time LSU commit and has the physical tools to be the next greattackle in the SEC.Florida- The Gators did well in the state but losing TracyHoward to Miamihurt. Matt Jones is one of the few offensive skilled guys that committed priorto signing day. He has the size and the resume to be the pro style back WillMuschamp is looking for. He won a state championship at Seffner Armwood and showsthe ability to catch the ball out of the backfield.Georgia-I mentioned on Monday that John Theus is the best offensive lineman in thestate and he headed to Athens.Faton Bauta from Palm Beach Gardens Dwyer is a terrific athlete who playedquarterback this past season. It will be interesting to see where Mark Richtplays him, but some folks I talk to think he can play quarterback at the nextlevel. Kentucky-The Wildcats havehad success in Floridaas well landing at least three kids. One kid that could be a sleeper is AJLegree a wide receiver from Fort White High School. Athletic fast kid who turned down instate schools Miami and South Florida to play for Joker Phillips. Also keep an eye on offensive tackle JordanSwindle who is 68 300 pounds.LSU- The Tigers has been able to pluck speed and skilledguys out of South Florida. They did get AveryJohnson a big time receiver who is related to Patrick Peterson. Both guysplayed at Blanche Ely High Schoolin Pompano Beach.Mississippi State- The Bulldogs have not been a big playerin the sunshine state, but they did grab some speed and athleticism by Brandon Holloway. He is a 59 athlete out of Tampa, Alonso High School. He had 10 receiving touchdowns and 5rushing touchdowns his senior season as a dual threat. He also could impact thethe return game immediately for Dan Mullen.Ole Miss- Like their rivals the Bulldogs the Rebels are nota big player in Florida, however they did landa big time offensive line prospect out of the city of Miami. Robert Conyers played at MiamiBraddock against very good competition. He is likely a red shirt candidate, butthis is a nice pick up for Hugh Freeze and Ole Miss. South Carolina-Steve Spurrier has had resurgence inrecruiting the last couple years landing the best kids in South Carolina. Even with that he has notforgotten about Floridawhere the Gamecocks picked up a tight end and one offensive lineman. CodyWaldrop played at state champion Seffner Armwood outside of Tampa and should be a good one down the road.Kelvin Rainey is a tight end who is already on campus and will go throughspring ball.Tennessee-Derek Dooley landed another great receiver to fitin with Tyler Bray in Alton Howard out of Orlando. He played at Edgewater which is historically a strong program. At 59 I seehim as a kick returner slot receiver with the Volunteers. He runs a 4.4 40 andthe Vols need more weapons for Bray. I like the Volunteers class a whole andthey need to produce for Dooley. Quarterback Nathan Peterman is the bestprospect at his position in the state and the future at quarterback for theVolunteers.Vanderbilt-James Franklin has done a great job in recruitingand looks to land four guys from Florida. He went to Orlandoand got two excellent offensive linemen Blake Fromang out of Lake Highland and KevinMcCoy out of Seffner Armwood. He also landed another offensive lineman out of Clay Countyin Will Holden. Franklinknows its tough to recruit to Vandy but he is focusing on the lines ofscrimmage and trying to make a foundation. In the SEC you have to have depth onthe lines of scrimmage.
