This past Saturday in college football was billed as “blowout weekend,” and for the most part it did not disappoint.
This week’s big games are not quite as big as Alabama and Texas A&M, but they do offer some interesting storylines and each game will tell us more about where these teams stand right now.
Alabama and Texas A&M finally meet in a top-10 showdown this Saturday.
The Georgia-South Carolina game looked more like a Big 12 shootout rather than a Southeastern Conference slugfest. The Bulldogs victory did reveal quite a few things to us though.
The second week of the season finds the Georgia Bulldogs in a must win situation. I realize they have been in this situation before and actually won the East (2011 opened 0-2), but the schedule favors South Carolina and the Dawgs need to bounce back.
