7. Northwestern, SC (1-0) | LAST WEEK (No. 12) Northwestern thumped Gaffney (SC) 51-19 in the season opener. Quarterback Mason Rudolph completed his first 16 attempts and finished with five passing touchdowns and one rushing on the day. 6-foot-5 wide receiver, and offseason transfer, Quadarius Fair had a breakout game and hauled in seven catches for 83 yards and three touchdowns. | THIS WEEK: At Charlotte Catholic, (NC) 8/30 

8. North Gwinnett, GA (1-0) | LAST WEEK (No. 10) Senior quarterback Hayden Sphire and his explosive receivers Nate Brown, Caleb Scott and Daniel Imatorbhebhe torched Camden County 34-14 in their week 1 win. Brown caught two Sphire touchdown passes, and Scott hauled in one. Defensively, top 10 Georgia recruit Dante Sawyer recorded three tackles for a loss to go with his eight total tackles. | THIS WEEK: At Grayson (GA) 8/30 

9. Ensworth, TN (1-0) | LAST WEEK (No. 9) Vanderbilt commit Michael Sawyers and Xavier Forrest are a pair of 300-pound tackles that dominate the line of scrimmage. The physicality extends to the backfield with 6-foot-1, 220 pound runner D’Andre Ferby. Ensworth opened the season with a big 27-26 win over powerhouse Trinity (KY). | THIS WEEK: Brainerd, (TN) 8/30 

10. Colquitt County, GA (1-0) | LAST WEEK (No. 11) Nine defensive starters return from 2012’s quarterfinals team including Jamiyus Pittman, Mike Parrish, Brandon Key and Tim Sanders. The stout defense held Georgia’s 2011 state champion Grayson to just six points in Colquitt County’s 21-6 week 1 victory. | THIS WEEK: At No. 11 Hoover, (AL) 8/30 

11. Hoover, AL (0-0) | LAST WEEK (No. 8) Cornerback Marlon Humphrey is the No. 1 recruit in the state of Alabama. The five-star will lead the defense against Hoover’s usual tough slate of opponents with help from junior defensive end Christian Bell. | THIS WEEK: No. 10 Colquitt County, (GA) 8/30. This will be a homecoming for former Hoover coach Rush Propst, who now leads the Colquitt County program. 

12. Manatee, FL (1-0) | LAST WEEK (No. 13) Manatee won its preseason game 38-7 over East Lake (FL).The 2012 state finalists return four-star defensive tackle Demarcus Christmas who is committed to FSU, andoffensive tackle Jake Stickler who is committed to Georgia Tech. Manatee rushed for 215-yards against East Lake, and junior quarterback Josh Meyer completed 11 of 16 passes for 150 yards and two scores. | THIS WEEK: Gilman, (MD) 9/01 

13. University, FL (1-0) | LAST WEEK (No. 13) Auburn commit Sean White will return to quarterback University after a perfect season in 2012. Duke commit Chris Taylor is one of White’s best exterior targets. Four-star junior running back Jordan Scarlett paces the offense. In the season opener, University posted a 41-21 win over Homestead in the ESPN Kickoff Classic. | THIS WEEK: At Taravella, (FL) 8/30 

14. Lowndes, GA (0-0) | LAST WEEK(No. 14) The Vikings return 13 starters including the anchor of their offensive line Dyshon Sims who is committed to UGA, and their entire starting line-backing corps. | THIS WEEK: At Luella, (GA) 8/30 

15. Byrnes, SC (1-0) | LAST WEEK (No. 19) Byrnes topped Apopka in a week 1 ESPN matchup. Old Dominion commit Chuler Bentley is a pro-style quarterback stretches the field with his 6-2 wide receiver Shaedon Meadors. Since 2004, Byrnes is 14-2 against out of state schools. | THIS WEEK: BYE, then Woodruff, (SC) 9/06

17. McEachern, GA (1-0) | LAST WEEK (No. 25) McEachern’s prolific rushing attack was in full effect in the Indians 31-10 victory over Georgia’s 2010 state champion Brookwood. 18. Godby, FL (0-0) | LAST WEEK (No. 21) Godby was impressive on both sides of the football in its 35-16 preseason win over Plant (FL). The score was 35-0 at one point and Plant did not find room offensively until the 4th quarter. Rashaan Evans is a 6-3, 220-pound four-star linebacker and is joined by fellow outside linebacker Darian Yancey who is committed to Southern Miss. 19. Norcross, GA (0-1) | LAST WEEK (No. 1) Norcross dropped 18 slots after getting dismantled by Booker T. Washington 55-0 on ESPN. The Blue Devils remain contenders in Georgia, but will be need to prove themselves against Georgia power Parkview in their next game. The team returned 20 starters from its 2012 championship team and the loss could be a wake up call for the prospect heavy squad. | THIS WEEK: BYE, then At Parkview, (GA) 9/06 

20. Lincoln, FL (1-0) | LAST WEEK (No. 22) Lincoln opened its season on ESPN with a 34-21 win over South Gwinnett (GA). 6-foot-3, 170-pound receiver John Burt has offers from FSU, Louisville, LSU, Miami and Ohio State and scored a 15 and 47-yard touchdown from quarterback Darius Harvey in the week 1 victory. | THIS WEEK: Pensacola, (FL) 8/29 

21. Buford, GA (0-0) | LAST WEEK (No. 24) Buford won the state championship last season in part to a tremendous defensive effort. Clemson commit and linebacker Korie Rogers returns and the explosive Thomas Wilson returns on offense. | THIS WEEK: Elbert County, (GA) 8/30 

22. Gainesville, GA (0-0) | LAST WEEK (N/R) Quarterback Deshaun Watson enters his senior season as Georgia’s state record-holder for career passing yards and passing touchdowns. As a junior, the Clemson commit threw for 4,011 yards and 50 touchdowns and rushed for 1,430 yards and 24 touchdowns while leading the Red Elephants to their first state championship in school history. | THIS WEEK: At West Forsyth 8/30 

23. Whitehaven, TN (1-0) | LAST WEEK (No. 23) Seniors Brandon Adams, Lewis Washington, Jeffrey Malone and Rashad Brown all have the capability of starting on either side of the line of scrimmage for the defending state champs. Whitehaven won a tough contest with Mitchell (TN) 20-16 in its season opener. | THIS WEEK: Fairley (TN) on 8/30

24. Apopka, FL (0-1) | LAST WEEK (No. 18) Nebraska commit and quarterback Zack Darlington was airlifted to the hospital in Apopka’s 51-36 week 1 loss to Byrnes. Darlington was injured with the score 44-36 Byrnes, and the defending Class 8A state champs will still be contenders while their quarterback recovers. Martez Ivey is a junior offensive tackle that is listed as the top Florida recruit for the Class of 2015. | THIS WEEK: Oak Ridge, (FL) 8/30 

25. Gaffney, SC | LAST WEEK (No. 17) Gaffney boasts an explosive offense with wideout Shaq Davidson and playmaker Hyleck Foster. Davidson is committed to South Carolina and Foster is pledged to Marshall. In week 1, our No. 7 team Northwestern (SC), exposed them defensively in a 51-19 route. Gaffney will have to show out against Clinton (SC) this week in order to remain in the rankings. | THIS WEEK: Clinton, (SC) 8/30
