CSS doesn't just hand out trophies to anyone, you've got to really ball to get one of these bad boys. Take a look at who we felt deserved recognition from Sunday's college basketball action.
Scott Wood, NCSU - Wolfpack guard Scott Wood scored 21 points to lead North Carolina State to a 78-73 win over Miami, but it was his second successful free throw Sunday that earned him a game ball. That free throw set a new Atlantic Coast Conference mark with 55 consecutive makes from the charity stripe, breaking Duke star J.J. Reddick's old mark set in 2003-04. Wood increased his total to 58 later on, but has a long way to go before setting the NCAA mark of 85 set by Butler's Darnell Archey between 2001-2003.
Dorenzo Hudson, Virginia Tech - Senior guard Dorenzo Hudson played 27 minutes off the bench -- a new role for the former starter -- and scored 12 points, six in the final 132 seconds of the game to lead Virginia Tech past No. 15 Virginia. It was the Hokies first ACC win of the season.
Darrell Armstrong, UNCG - The UNCG Spartans scored with 2.8 seconds in the game to pull off a Southern Conference win over Samford. Junior guard Darrell Armstrong scored nine of UNCG's final 15 points and poured in 27 points Sunday to lead all scorers.
