SEC Baseball Dominates College Baseball Poll
The Southeastern Conference leads all college baseball with seven teams in the Baseball America Top 25 Poll, released on March 11. The Atlantic Coast Conference and Pacific-12 each have five teams in the poll.
Not only does the SEC have the most entries, the conference is extremely top heavy with five teams in the top 10. Vanderbilt and South Carolina and No. 2 and No. 5, respectively, while Ole Miss (No. 6), LSU (No. 7) and Kentucky (No. 10) round out the top 10.
With Mississippi State at No. 13 and Arkansas at No. 15, all seven of the SEC schools are in the top 15 spots on the poll.
