The college football season is fast approaching with a lot of key matchups early. A few that will spark a lot of attention nationally. Will these games determine a schools’ season or just become a minor setback/step forward for those involved?
Here are a few of the games that I believe have a lot of national implications for teams early on this season!
Georgia vs. Clemson
This game is built as one of the best games to be played this season! It's highlighted by two NFL-caliber quarterbacks in Georgia's Aaron Murray and Clemson's Tajh Boyd. The real question is not the offensive fire power on both sides, but which defense can with stand the onslaught of offensive explosion! This game has the making of an early classic and whichever defense can stand up, that team should be victorious!
Alabama vs. Texas A&M
Alabama is looking to repeat as national champions again in 2013. The bigger story is not Alabama but the reigning Heisman Trophy winner in Johnny Manziel! After upsetting Alabama in Tuscaloosa last year can this A&M team pull the upset again at home? Expect Bama to want to avenge the loss of last year, and expect all the offseason issues of Johnny football to cease if he gets another signature win!
Florida vs. Miami
The question around college football: Which is the best school in Florida? Can Florida get the ball rolling after a disappointing bowl game loss to Louisville? Can the resurging Hurricanes get back to the old days when they were feared? An early test for the Gators and everybody will be wondering: Is this team is for real?
There are early tests on the horizon for a few schools with high expectations this season! Who will rise to the challenge and take their season to a higher mark with a signature win early?
